Making its return after being a roaring success in its first year in 2011 is the Ladies Trailer Backing Competition. The kids will be occupied all day with colouring competitions, Mothers Day Cup Cake Decorating Competition, Bush Photo Competition, whip cracking, boot art, Well Worn Bush Hat and free jumping castle.
Some of the new and returning exhibitors include all major sponsors as well as Koolaman Designs, Think Water, Mildura Native Nursery, Sunrise Ag, Wallers, The Pit Stop and Outback Whips and Leather.
Livestock Exhibitors will be attending and there is plenty for the ladies and mums. The Bar and food stalls will be open all day and there is a fantastic line up of entertainment starting in the afternoon and continuing into the evening.
As always the community auction is being held raising funds for various community health organisations and for the first time the Pooncarie Field Day will hold their own stand selling some local goods and merchandise to raise funds for the Broken Hill Outback Mobile Resource Unit - affectionately known as Toy Library - who provide a valuable service to preschool aged children from Tibooburra south to Gol Gol....
